I hadnt really thought of adding the rear tank and going to a 2nto1. But my memory is that the rear subframe on the SMR is different and the exh. collector is absolutely different.

I have a RMC on my SMR. I can do 300-400 mile days no problem. It is quite good. The OE seat was good for about 30 minutes.
