PS - that sump guard is a nice bit of work. The oil filter actually fits underneath it? Kaw should design the W into a scrambler model IMO.

Have seen a couple and they look great. Of course it's really nothing but a street scrambler same as those great CL350's Honda's back in the 60's. Loved them then, and love them today!

Yep, rode her that way for first 5 years. The big silver 02 GSA looked good without IMO. Stock screen drove me nuts. Then fabricated my own mini shield which works fine for what I do.

Sounds like it could be a hall sensor going bad. The wires get hot and over time start to deteriorate.
