It's printed in the Haynes manual, which I don't have in front of me. I think it's like 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 turns out. It isn't super sensitive, and that would get you running and idling passably.

No, accelerator pumps only squirt while the slide is being lifted. At any slide position, idle, WFO or anything in between, if the position is static, the pump isn't doing anything.

Again, yes it works just fine. My /5 has an r100S engine and trans. Nothing to it. Enjoy it. Mine is a SWB /5, and it lifts the front wheel in first gear without playing the clutch. It's fun!
