With Nitro those numbers wouldn't be too surprising. That stuff makes excellent cylinder pressures. Its a testament to KTM that they can run stock pistons. That's reassuring for the turbo project!

For what its worth, I doubt changing the fuel pump will solve the problem. On my bike I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and have tried settings from 1.5 to 12 psi with no improvement.

Agreed. It would have been unusual if there was no oil residue at all. The backup plan in case this $195 Chinese turbo starts to blow more oil is to get a salvage yard K03 with ball bearings.
