I like my Sidi's. I am 5'8" and 155 soaking wet, so not large calves. I do however wear Leatt knee guards, but without the boots tighten up just fine with no slop.:D

Peg weighting

Off road, standing up, you have to put weight on the pegs to get the bike to do certain things to turn tight, cross slopes, etc.
