Redonda ridge is a rocky, snotty trail with some overhangs and a ledge or two..also called Malcolm Smith Trail. A quad may make it, but why?

Hasn't happened yet... Generally gets less nuts once you get above the crab flats rocks, which filters out...

Am headed up there next week to do some fall color riding, kayaking etc. Bringing an xr600 and will also ride Mammoth area.

Any special trails you guys recommend in this area? I know the Mammoth...

Not yet sure what I think k of it, not sure if it's that much better or any better, than. The Hennessey explorer. Fabric is thinner than the Hennessy , and not as roomy..especially...

The Hennessy explorer, tho the wife has taken a liking to it, so I may get a ridgerunner as well. Here's a shot of the set up in Panguitch. .it kept me dry and warm enough in some serious rain.

I'm out west, we have some tuff trails, rocks then dirt roads in between.

I take it for quick deployment the sleep bag is inside the hammock, all you need do is hang it, and put on the pad, space...

Old wiring not much of an issue. I had huskies, ktm. Newer is not necessarily more reliable. 90's tech is fine. Make sure you get the cartridge fork. Makes a difference.
