That was my original intent, but if you take them apart, you'll see that simply "cutting them down" is not really possible. At least, that was my observation.

If anyone sees a way to do this...

Definitely agree on CEII; first saw him at Laguna Seca on a TZ250 (IIRC) in '92. My son & I would drive out 1,100 miles for the race weekend from New Mexico.

Weak heated grips here, too...

My '13 GSW has very "weak" heated grips, also. Complained about this quite a while ago, but little response back then.

Wearing "winter" gloves, with the grips on HI, I can't feel all that much...

Shorter turn signals for GSW?

In the interest of reducing damage in a tip-over, are there any "shorter" turn signals available for the (USA version) GSW? I seem to recall the Euro versions are shorter.

Haven't seen this...

Barkbusters

Barkbusters was (IIRC) the first mod I did to my '13 GSW. Excellent choice.

I'm a little leery of any handguard/turn signal combos after the dreadful experience I had w/my '10 MTS1200S (granted,...

Just sold my '00 KLX300R...almost brought a tear to my eye.

I have four boys, and during the 90s and early 00s we went dirt riding just about every weekend. Good times! PW80, RT180, KX80, XR100,...

Interesting speculation. I'll bet the "inner ear" of a blind person is pretty well-developed, since I've heard that deprivation of sight often enhances other senses.

BTW, thanks for all the...

Anyone ever ride with a blind passenger?

Mrs. Greg's best friend is blind, and it occurred to me that it might be quite an experience for her (the blind friend) to take a spin on a motorcycle.

I'm not sure I'll ask her, but I wondered if...

As a fairly longtime "Gerbings" user, I had a repair handled a year or so ago...seemed like it took a while, but was completed. Also bought another liner, just in case. Looks quite different.

Can do it with one; weigh F/R separately. Even with the bike un-level, the few inches thickness of the scale introduces negligible error.

I suppose everyone will have a "favorite part" from the '71 movie that was left out of the '14 movie. I agree that desert racing/Baja would have been nice.

Could have done with less "daredevil"...
