That's what I figured...
Evil 1, Thanks for the 'heads up' about the skid plate. It is very well constructed, but I agree that it is not 'bullet proof'.

As far as I understand the skid plate is made specifically for the SW-Motech engine guard. Somewhere on ADV I read where one was adapted with some custom brackets.

The answer is...
Well, I finished up the install of the SW-Motech Engine/Crash Guard and Skid plate.
I DID NOT have to loosen the exhaust at all to replace the side stand bolts when adding the rear support...
