If you're talking about crossing a ditch to get to a WalMart parking lot, no biggie I guess, but hopping median strips or riding on what may be private property isn't cool.

I owned a KLR for ten years and put 37K miles on it. It never failed me.

I now own a DR650. Both are great bikes.

The consensus here is correct. The KLR is more comfortable for highway...
