My blocking plug was from a superduke and therefore didn't fit the adventure (according to KTM).
Good you can swap alarms so easily but not sure what it means for security really.

I didn't get any answer here but in case it helps anyone I bought a new alarm. That worked (plug and play) and everything was fine. I was hoping not to spend 300 Euro but had to.

Scorched Fuel Tank on 990 Adv - What to Do?
