My passenger seat did that and they replaced it under warranty. If it's a tacky residue, like someone poured soda on it. Take it to the dealer.

PSI will be on a label plate on the tank. CFM will be listed on the pump. Check for a model number on the pump also. I would not exceed 120 psi.
