Watercooling had more to do with noise reguations than multicylinder engines.
Originally water cooling showed up on the Suzuki 750 and wankel (sp?) engines, then the Gold Wing, and GL500, RZ's V4s...

Haven't ridden an 1800, spent some time on 1500's, only the price and not doing long rides kept me off.
Ridden with verve, as good a ride as any, shines in spring fall riding, can be warm in summer....

Thanks, it helps. CMT affecting leg nerves, will be going lower and or lighter. By choice, I've ridden Triumph America's and enjoyed it, but they are rare used and prices I see asked are high....

Motorcycle radials are not quite as far from bias as implied. Some combinations work reasonably well, some feel scary.
Never a combination I liked but sometimes you just need a certain size tire now.
