It'll work out better if you ever need it. Best way to find out if you could need it locally is to find out what kind of facilities your local hospital has and if that is actually sufficient.

Personally, I like the idea -- I have NEVER been a fan of KLR in motorcycles, with the exception of the old air-cooled motorbike .

the older wings are no where near as hard to work on as they are made out to be. Once you get the tupperware off everything is straightforward. If I found another for dirt cheap I'd consider buying...

Yamaha will make step towards more dirt and off road oriented bikes .. like KTM Adventure or GS ... In the past they prooved that can make good off road tourers...

I know that Honda's weren't totally out of it pre 1973 as Rod Peck has posted some SWEET pics of him on his 350 circa early 70's. But I think that was more out west as modifying a 350 for dirt...
