I used my Darien's as over pants before I retired. Made wearing suitable work attire easy! Now that I am retired, I still use them as over pants....easy to strip down at stops if it is hot......

Ok, I'll weigh in. I have Aerostich Combat Touring Boots. Very good boot. Very comfortable after breaking in. Not advertised as "waterproof", but my feet have never gotten wet.

No particular experience with them (mine are insulated) but you might look at the Aerostich Elkskin Roper gauntlets. I think they also offer deer skin uninsulated gauntlets.

Can't remember the brand name, but I got a pair WAY long ago at Wal-Mart..they were open cell foam, and as it turned out way too big for my hands. They looked like a good idea, though.

Pricey, but I like the Aerostich Dispatch and Courier bags. I adjust the straps so the weight sits on the pillion seat, and am very happy with the results. YMMV
