Well I finally found one and made a deal on it. Its actually in better shape and comes with more spare parts than the one currently on Ebay and I got it for a bit cheaper. Just waiting to have it...

Yep, 1 1/4 is the way to go. You can get one anywhere in 1/2" drive. I was able to get it off with my Dewalt cordless inpact gun...had to rattle away a bit but it came loose.
