I put a rubber band around my phone in the xgrip...

I put a rubber band around my phone in the xgrip when I use a zip lock bag for waterproofness because it gets slippery (i'm not a KLR rider but am a cheap fk).

I just put rear pads & changed the drive lube on my 05 1200GS last week and that was part of my check list. None that I could see @ 55k miles. But it was something I kept an eye on. It would be nice...
