Good stuff, I did 1768km on my first 1600, easy peasy, the second was pure hell, 1670km in up to 45 degree heat.

I cant see how you could run rich on one side without there being an issue with that injector. Everything else is pretty closely coupled between the two. Good luck figuring it out.
