Blue Highway

I've still got the Blue Meanie ( '06 955i Tiger). The wife and I road it up to the 2008 Inaugural Moto GP in Indianapolis. A week ago I had the 12,000 mile service done on it.

Crash course

Got the Thunderbike bars on in less than an hour. The two long replacement bolts are for the oil side of the crank case. They look sweet and feel like they'll do the job when and if needed.

I got my Thunderbike crash bars yesterday at work.
The box has a square hole in the side (where I suppose it was inspected by customs?).
Inside is the LHS and RHS bars and one baggie with two...

No eyelashes on my 06', and I guess because this engine case is the same as the 1050 "Tiger" it doesn't have the three bolts on it...

Thinking about it, what about gas milage. Does mid or premium help?
What about speed? If gas is $3.30 a gallon now, who knows what it will be in September.
