a couple days of riding from Dm to Dorchester

Heading to Dorchester area from Des Moines the end of this week. Does anyone have any suggestions for the following;

Figure 8 races in Adel tonight?

Anyone heading over to Adel to the figure 8 races tonight? A few of us are thinking of going over.
I think they usually start at 7:00pm but seats fill up fast.

Help? Transamerica trail in Central and or Western Arkansas or other rides?

A few of us have stopped by the Anamosa climb in a few years past. We try to head through stone city and some other roads around on the way back.
Is dickeyville in bad shape? Did it get flooded?

danner gtx 452 and sweaty feet

I have a pair of danner gortex 452's that have lasted for about 1.5 years and has held up very well ( I still wear them as a 2nd pair now).
My feet sweat a bit but when I head out for alot of hiking...

You may have already tried this but run the wires for the GPS to the Battery direct with a Inline fuse totaly seperate from all bike wiring and use 14 or 12 awg wires.
Tew or mtw wire is best for...
