For a really grubby bladder, or plastic drinking bottle, baking soda and warm water. Don't fill right up. Add natural rice and shake /squeeze. The rice will scrubb the bladder/bottle clean.

Main bearing seats can be a bit loose on used cases. A tad of locktite works, but if very loose, not good. Trouble is that you find this out after buying....

As for slipping, I rough the balls up with sandpaper making them grippier. I have the plastic balls....
