Thanks, we can try that. My mate says the battery in his bike new in the last year or so.

If the battery was dead to the ignition/run with the key but powered the accessories it's hard to imagine...

I kind of put it off getting a new one or a replacement...

The bike landed on its right side, so at first glance - the front brake lever, mirror, grip, and right foot peg are broken. The peg is really broken, so the mounting assembly may be out of shape too....
