Mt Evans is even better. More pavement, less people. Plus goats at the top.

The trailer is also in the planning phase. I have a friend who is a fabricator in a steel shop. We're going to build 2 trailers this winter. Single wheel with a Rubbermaid cargo box.

I'll post...

It's only 3 bolts, electrical connections and fuel lines. Not a horrible job but it takes patience. And you are correct. The motor must be removed to replace.

I have a whole '86 Elite 150 parts bike in my shop. The bad thing is I think the starter is bad on it too. It won't crank the engine fast enough to start. Even with a fresh battery.

Probably the...

Here's mine

I found mine in a giant workshop while on vacation in Wisconsin back in 2010 tucked away in the corner. It had a white and red flame paint job from the '80s, softail fender, cobbled up exhaust...

If only I would have seen this offer in January. I bought a whole bike just for the plastics.
Sent you a PM inquiring on what can be done to these scooters minus the plastics and your project.

Caution

I did these mods when I first got my '08 in 2007. Everything went well until a couple months ago when I tried to start my bike in gear and it lunged forward and rear ended my vintage corvette.

Jealous

I'm a bit jealous. I had my '06 Uly for 6 months. I have rated it the 2nd worst bike I have ever owned (next to a 650 Savage). I spend the entire 6 months trying to make it more comfortable. I tried...

Just wanted to show off my old '72 Shovelhead

Price

I'd say that's waaay to much. I gave $3800 for mine and it only had 10,000 miles and Buell GPS / Hardbags.
I'd keep shopping or throw them a lower offer.

Mount Evans

Try Mount Evans. Paved road all the way to the top, higher than pikes peak, fewer people and they have mountain goats!
Way better than pikes peak in my opinion.

Old School

This was the nicest old school somewhere in Kansas. The stucture looked strong but it was all boarded up. I wanted to look in the gym so bad. Hands down the best old structure I have ever seen.
