my biggest recollection of the Thumpernats was watching Burner and Cam Taylor on their XR650 "trailbikes" blow all the "racebikes" away into the first turn....and then some.

just my belief that on that particular track (mainly Peebinga thru to Taplan gate) theres more fun to be had on that track on a more enduro oriented bike as opposed to a tourer/adventure bike.
