Has anyone here disassembled an 1190 starter yet?
I wonder if it's something as simple as a connection inside, or cleaning the brushes and commutator.

Or is the 1290 starter just bigger? Larger...

It looks to me like the filter is on the suction side of the FI pump. There should be no pressure on it.
If it's on the discharge side of the pump I'd do away with this filter and install one...

100LL avgas still has lead in it, it's not unleaded.

Mine has the same thing. I was surprised, my 1200GS ran great at 3000 RPM.
This is my first KTM V twin, I figured it just didn't like the lower RPM, so I run it at 4000.

If the bolts in the kit mount the guards and radiators to the bike, you'll have the factory bolts left...

If I had to I'd disconnect the battery, ECM, ABS module and the multifunction display.

There's a lot of technology on these bikes...

Maybe buy a new KTM rack, since that is the tough to fit part, and a used set of Touratech panniers. Years ago I got lucky and found a used set for my 1200 GS.

After adjusting the clutch cable I installed the new shifter bushing and bolt and got in a short ride. It still slipped.
