I tried the klim mesh pants (forgot what they called them) and thought they were too sloppy and unprotective. The Klim Dakars are the meshiest I'd go. And i like them . Light color for me is better.

It's easy, I've done it. Lots of pics. There is a good image of how it goes in the service manual. The beefiest part is at the shock adjuster, so start replacing it back there first then work...

as a previous poster said, you need to ride it, not idle it- idling it is worse than not starting it. Moisture does not get heated out of the oil and the battery only gets lower. Get a battery tender...

The valve bracket

On go the valves complete with bracket. Chain put on. You can see the wheels located at TDC (hole in the top). Did we have the TDC bolt in that this point? I can't remember, maybe Eric will chime...
