The hip angle on the RS is due to more forward lean, the rest is the same apart from the standard seat which is the higher one on the RS, but the seats are interchangeable.

I like the GS Adventure cases on the standard GS. Wouldn't buy them again though as the final price is fairly prohibitive if you have to exchange the footpeg hangers as well (I didn't pay for these).
