This is interesting. There's always been a permit system for the White Rim if you want to camp out on the trail (multi-day trip). I've never heard of getting a permit to drive or ride the White Rim...

If you read my other 4 or 5 posts in this thread, the wet pavement issues are discussed. In short, I've had no problems with wet pavement, cold or hot, riding fast or slow.
