I had a TR250 in college. Bought it for $1200 with 50,000 miles on it. Great car.
If you get the choice, get a TR4A solid axle. Handles better and more reliable than the IRS.
Overdrive on 4's...

An 86 would be a monoshock R80 frame. That is the least desirable configuration, heavier and not as agile as the earlier model.
I've seen clean, low mileage small frames struggle to top $2,500.

Not sure about the T-3, but my V50 has the blinker in the power line before the switches. I put in a Novita EP34. It's a 3 plug blinker that works with LED's.
Works fine, and you can pick it up...
