I would probably have a greater adventure on a lighter enduro type bike which allows me to go into deeper into remote areas than a so called 600lb...

just completed a 14000km ( 9000 mile ) ride in 6 weeks around Australia.
Bike had 25000km at start of journey.

The GS was a 2010 (double cam).

All i can say is the bike performed brilliantly -...

The air cooled GS's look like muscular dirt bike ,which looks way cooler IMO
