before daves mods were done to the bike it was possible to get just over 60mpg and after daves mods i would average...

bad gas mileage
my bike has been getting terrible gas mileage. i started noticing it about 6 months ago. i have a 5.8 gal tank and every time i would fill up i would lose 5 to 10 mpg. it could get 55 mpg pretty easy...

Hey, anybody know the tricks to keeping the front end from washing out on these bikes? It seems wash out is the only reason i go down with the pig.

Hit a dead deer at 55mph with mine :eek1back in march, 8000 miles later still no problems. Man there are alot of deer out this year.
