I had a squeak once and found it was coming from the fork seals. Lube them with something then go for a test ride. I put some silicone spray on them from time to time and the noise is gone.

You saying you want to put more than 440 pounds on a 540 pound bike?? Yeah that sounds safe. That's 81% of the bikes weight. Not even a heavy duty pick up can handle 81% of it's weight on it.

Kia's have the same problem with H7 bulbs. They have a fix for the sorento that adds a resistor inline with the bulb. My bike has a HID so no need for me to try adding a resistor.

Mine does that only when cold. Under 40 degrees and only the first 3 to 5 take offs from a stop. After that its good. I dont worry about it because it has not gotten any worse and it dont slip.
