Got pulled over for a burnt out bulb. Looks like I have the same things to check. Actually my 510 does the same thing!

I settled where I had slight drag with .002 and the .003 seemed too big
Runs good.

Had to put the bike in gear and move it a bit to get the stator back...

He also said turning the rear wheel is the half-assed way to do it (my words not his). So the side cover is coming off.
