When working up the design for the Advgear toolbox (now sold by Adventure Designs), I removed the rear shock absorber on the 2014 GSA so I could confirm than in the full range of travel the mud guard...

Tip: Put your name and address on the outside (tire) side of the pannier, makes it a lot easier for the finder to contact the loser. That's how I got my lost pannier back….thank, Del.

The combo cam lock won't work on the side mount toolboxes because it is too high (tall) and the pannier hits it. The clearance is tight, so the keyed lock, with a lower profile fits.

I asked the dealer about that easy rotation of the ESA shock when I got the bike in February…Normal, they say. After 12000 miles, no issues. Seems fine.
