Does that trick even work at all on the airhead paralever?

Nevermind shock clearance issues, seems to me it doesn't work like on the oilheads where the rear paralever pivot is the "fixed" point...

Different idea: If that R100S has 40mm Bings and you find the pull too long, fit the throttle levers off some R80 carbs. They're shorter, so there's less pull, so less degrees to rotate at the grip...
