Your bike will need the 1% leaner Rottweiler map with just the intake. If you have aftermarket exhaust as well you will most likely need the 2% leaner one. This was my experience precisely.

Try the 1% or 2% leaner maps. I couldn't tell if you had the original airbox or not. If you do then the 1% leaner map may work better.

I just installed their intake system...

This is exactly the issue I have with my 1190R I purchased in December. A couple of months ago the bike wouldn't start....

Another option is HID. I had an amazing result on my 990S. Seeing shadows during the daytime is amazing! Bright as the sun and avoids extra weight of the crashbar and aux lights.
