Picture!

That bike in the pic looks like a KTM Super Enduro/BMW HP2 type. KTM has already proven its not a big seller even if it was reliable like the Honda will be. Sure some guys on here would love it but I...

K60 Fronts

Last a long time. Rears not so much as they square off and make cornering on dry pavement dicey. Must be worse on wet pavement. Seem to work pretty well on dirt. I try for the best of both worlds...

Penticton!

Is lovely but way too touristy in the summer. Great beaches. Pricey real estate. Can get hot. Overcast all winter and damp. Lived in Kelowna for 4 years but moved back to Calgary and loved our cool...

2014

All the way. Had the 2012 for 2 years, so I know. Too many refinements on the 14 to list. It is by far the better bike. Many on here think they can make a 14 out of a 12 but it won't even come close....

Won't!

Ever be as good off road twin as the KTM SE. Current King in that arena. Honda wouldn't sell enough of those to make it viable. But they'd sell a boat load of KTM Adventures/GS12s/S10s/800s. Guess...

Dakar Bikes.

Think the biggest reason they went to 450s was to let other manufacturers compete. Only KTM was building big duallies that were dirt worthy enough to win all the way down to 690s. Nobody had a bike...

Back to weight!

Heck, my XRL weighed 350lbs with gas. So I doubt a 1000cc twin will weigh the same. And as for the old AT in the dirt, I believe my S10 1200 would leave it in the dust both power wise and handling...
