I mountain biked Flag Creek/Bear Creek/Deadman's Gulch on the fourth and it was ridable. Most of that area is open, the stuff N of Crested Butte is still under snow.

In Montrose we have Gordon Composites and a 3M plant...Swiss o Matic is another, I may be able to think of a couple more.
