The Tiger is plenty capable. Other than the KTM, which has far better suspension for off road work, the bimmer and Yamaha are in the same boat. They have ok suspension and they weigh too much.

If you are looking for tough, the Bark Busters (or any of the aluminum wrap arounds) are the way to go. I have them on my dirt bikes and bounce off of tree and hit the ground on a regular basis.
