I had one that was doing that and it turned out to be the drain hose where it connected to the sink drain. Clogged with little pieces of glass and whatever. Cleaned it out and it worked like new.

I went from soft to Pelican cases. The top box is a smaller unit and allows me to use a small duffel with it. Pelicans may not be the most secure, but they are tough, won't dent and are waterproof....
