Great job and thanks for sharing. Still thinking of this myself, as I've had Givi panniers an a topcase on the last two bikes I've had, but the PC800 has such nice lines, not sure I want to mess them...

I have a '99 1100 GS and get no where near 49MPG. I get 38 all the time and it's accurate...

Laminar Lip did nothing for me on a 1999 1100GS with stock screen. No amount of fiddling seemed to take the buffeting away, so it sits on a shelf, replaced by an Aeroflow Half-fairing. Waste of $$...

'99 R1100GS final drive failure at 48K miles. Bike always ridden on road, no off-road or single track. Not overloaded either. Bike never ridden two-up.

I noticed a jump in mileage for me too after this last tank, from 40MPG to 49MPG. Those are true figures, US gallons with GPS mileage on a 1999 R1100GS. The bike has nearly 49K and I'm the 3rd owner....

I ended up using two, small Philips screws to seal the TB's, and cut a small piece of the now-useless vent hose to cover the nipple and screw head; looks good.

Cut both hoses going to the solenoid...
