Vapor Lock....

....try this, take a high pressure blower and blow out the vent hole in the gas cap.

That costs nothing, and might solve the problem.

Agreed....

...the huge range with a shaft drive, combined with the cafe style are unique in the market. The only other bike that comes close is the new BMW R9T. But those are sold out for the next two years.

You must...

...seam seal the stitching around the main zipper for a truly waterproof Roadcrafter.

You have to buy the "Seam Grip" and "Cotol" and apply it to the stitches to prevent water from coming through...
