fuel starved
Sounds like the problem I had with floats. Bowl ran dry at high throttle and the bike stumbled until it got more gas. Replaced the floats, problem solved.

I'd start with fuel supply on that side. Not enough fuel in the bowl, sucks it dry on hard acceleration. Kink in the line, float sticking, sumthin like that.

Had a couple early 90's airhead GS's, went to an 1150GS then a 12GS. I never stopped missin' the older bikes. Then this one popped up right here on advrider and I'm old school again. :D
