I pulled the front end apart to polish up the tripple tree and I got the grease on the steering stem bearing dirty. The bearings are new, I recently installed them, so I don't want to pull them off...

Thanks for the replays on my oil question. I'm using Rotella and it seems to stay cleaner than Dino oil. I usually change it every 1000 miles.

I changed my oil a few rides ago and I noticed that when I check my oil it still looks clean. The oil level is spot on. Did I screw this up? Or Am I super lucky?

I have used Daggets before, they keep a close eye on it but its not parked in a secured area ( fenced). Having said that I didnt have any problems.
