Front Sprocket

Impact driver was the key. New 15t is on, and as others have said, what a difference. It feels like im always in the powerband now and lifting the front is much easier. :D

Bluhduh front sprocket

It has been for me anyway, I have tried on and off for several days now with no luck. I have tried heat, a 3ft lever, even my neighbors. All we succeeded in doing was bending his 1/2 socket wrench.

Could probably get the touch up paint and have that matched, at a local paint n spray. Price wise that is definately the way to go, rather than drop 500 on a new tank. Particularly when the new rally...

gas tank

Can the tigerr 800 gas tank fit on the tiger 800xc without modifications (aside from using the stock 800xc fittings/plastics)?
Has anyone tried this?

Front Sprocket for 800XC

Is the stock front sprocket on the 2011 Triumph Tiger 800xc a 16T:525 or 520? I'm looking to drop a tooth in the front but I can't find the thread that mentions it or the replacement part number from...

Wireharness

@Shady, Nice work. By chance did you use 'press on/ push in' connectors only or did you do some soldering. If just swappable connectors could we get you to take a picture of the wireharness you made...

Wonder if it can be done while changing the ABS setting to off accidentally? I don't know. Remapped and it's fine now so you got me.

Stepper motor/Mapping/Filter

So the diagnosis;
The new map that was installed just recently somehow had reverted to the old shipped firmware after a couple days of riding. The new map has been reinstalled and the bike is back...

stepper motor

Regarding the stepper motor/stalling issue... So, is this possibly a warrenty fix? Or something they will ream me for over 2hrs labor and some un-needed part that just had to be cleaned?

Cheers,

Yes this is the most recent tune, and first long ride (more than 30 minutes) that it has been on since re-map. Before hand the re-map felt great, which led to my question of it being possible for...

I found a better solution than a zip tie. I use a nyloon toe strap (usd with clip style bike pedals), cut to length. This allows for easy on and easy off and can be re-used. 10k miles and this has...
