Thanks Phil for your quick response. I pulled the top padding out and I have plenty of room with just the eps so it would seem that thinner padding would work.

I have commuted a couple of times on the scooter. My route is on 509 from Normandy Park to Seattle. I either go up Michigan and get on I-5 or stay on 1st Ave So and get on I-5 at Spokane Street....

slow speeds

Mine is fine, as long as I remember to give it a little juice just as I'm letting out the clutch. The throttle is pretty touchy at low speeds like that but luckily my hand has been able to hold out....
