What is your opinion of the caribou rack system ($780 for KLR650 2009) compared to the packrat ($225 plus the boxes so $425 approx).

650 engine

I have had both a SV650 and a DL65. The 650 is plenty of power. Engine very smooth and I have put 40,000K on the engine. Nothing but oil changes and filters. Closest thing to perfect.
