The real reason the swingarm cracked

As Chris mentioned before the swingarm failure on my bike was down to one reason.

This is how my bike arrived in Bishkek (over a week late with promises every day it will arrive tomorrow).

Decat exhaust

Runs cooler, takes about 500kg out of the exhaust, same noise as before. Maybe pickup is a bit smoother.

Easy to do but you need someone that can weld stainless. There's some pics somewhere on...

Do you know if that bracket will fit the 43m WP forks to enable the 990 fender to be fitted to an X CH? I have a front fender off a 800GS but not convinced as to it's durability v KTM offering.

Are you going to move the frames forward while you're at it? I did the same sort of mod on my bike but moved the frames forward by about 125mm and strengthened the subframe at the same time....

Saw this neat little oil cooler on an old R850R outside my house yesterday.

Nice neat cooler that looks easy to mount on a approx 10mm bar.

Should be easy to mount on the X bikes if required....

I have one of Stefan's rallye bash plates with toolbox. Haven't used it on long distance work but it is waterproof and can be locked with a small padlock through the overcentre clips.
