No worries...If the piston isn't cracked then you need to bleed it correctly. Leaving it to all settle will help, so should be straight forward to bleed again.

Only way that oil could find its way out is if the piston is cracked in the centre...what mineral oil were you using...? Use the fork oil or ATF/power steering oil...or hydraulic oil...

Interesting, I wasn't aware the US bikes didn't have the EPC valves...That's what the plug is for....One sits right under the SAS hence my confusion, it was some years ago that I disconnected it....

Just the plug from the SAS valve...limits full throttle in first and second gear ISTR, there are two, so one for the front on the other side...see the 3/4 inch pipe at the rear of the air...

I still don't know why anybody with FCR's hasn't investigated the squirt pump primers of yesteryear....engines with draft carbs (non choke circuit) were primed with peddle pumps and air restrictions...

If you haven't touched the ECU then its incorrect assembly from KTM....allowing water ingress. I'd push this point, the bike is under warrenty and if it goes down the legal route...
