If you take the IICE out and leave the OEM plug unplugged, does the bike run the same as plugging in the IICE with it set on -20 or will it run at all with it unplugged? Just trying to get an idea of...

I pulled the side panel and cap off the top of the fuel pump on my 05 this afternoon. 3 wire plug to the controller and then a 2 wire plug near the edge. So it's a float I'm guessing?
