Guess it depends on your touring needs. The speed is a bare knuckle street fighter. The tiger has fairing, luggage etc. The Sprint ST might be a good choice as a sport tourer. Might get a good deal...

BMG Adventure pants (http://www.britishmotorcyclegear.com/mens-adventure-pants.asp) are $200. Armor is separate though. You can search from some reviews on them. They may fit your needs.

Anyone know how abrasion resistant the Mercury jacket is? Their website mentions the Knox armor protection, but nothing about abrasion resistance in the impact areas.
